There is powerful wisdom within us. At Living Neuro, my aim is to guide you gently to unlock the natural resources within and open a path to wholeness. The process of exploring your unconscious, and uncovering hidden truths as you trust and integrate the wisdom that emerges, is made possible through the therapeutic alliance, and evidence-based practices of neurofeedback, psychotherapy and somatic work. As Carl Jung said, "the privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.
I am the founder of LivingNeuro, a private wellness practice in Brisbane, where I offer counselling, psychotherapy, and NeurOptimal® neurofeedback brain training. In addition to individual sessions, I provide e-counselling through videoconferencing for clients across Australia. I deliver group workshops with a focus on creative pathways to personal and professional growth.
The path to transformation occurs as we pay greater attention to recurring symbols, symptoms, meaningful coincidences, archetypes, dreams and metaphors; healing arises when what has been cast out of consciousness or is not able to be known yet, comes forward and into awareness. There, we can together explore and appreciate its significance.

A safe place to land; take a moment; and explore the path forward. My approach is to meet people where they are, creating a collaborative, calm space where holistic transformation emerges naturally. Based on each client’s needs, I approach trauma-sensitive recovery using a combination of talk therapy, neurofeedback and somatic regulation. My style is gentle, spacious and soulful – with a good dash of humour and playfulness. At heart, I approach therapeutic work relationally, meaning that as inner patterns of relating and unconscious material surface in the "here and now" of present awareness; integration can occur, which enables greater understanding, release and expansion.
My journey as your practitioner reflects my personal investment in professional development and inner work. Abiding by a strict code of ethics and focus on self-knowledge, I undertake regular clinical supervision, and mentoring from leaders in the field. My ongoing commitment to personal psychotherapy supports me to remain fully “present” and compassionate as a therapist and human being. I believe we are all works in progress; beautifully messy, and therapy is an opportunity to evolve and grow.
Living Neuro combines 10 years of creative and compassionate work. Alongside private practice, I have supported people in non government and government sectors; group and individual therapy; corporate wellness programs; and as an university educator in both counselling and architectural studies. I have worked with a spectrum of concerns, spanning general “overwhelm” and life stress; to survivors of trauma and abuse; mental health and dual diagnosis challenges; as well as the bereaved and end of life care.
I am committed to supporting people’s individual needs born from a desire to understand, and a philosophy of deep respect; it is a gift to work alongside many courageous, resilient people in unique life circumstances.

I support individuals to live intentionally and with greater balance, drawing on rich influences including person centred, trauma-based approaches to psychotherapy; somatic, attachment theory, psychodynamic and Jungian perspectives; expressive therapies and mindfulness based practices....
