I view the difficulties that each individual presents with primarily as an attempt to adapt to one's world, rather than dysfunctional in some way. However, these adaptive strategies may become counter-productive creating distress. The body-mind has inherent self-correcting capacities that can be harnessed with skilful interventions in the right environment for healing to occur. I use a variety of tools to create that healing zone and facilitate the inherent body-mind wisdom to emerge.

    Background

I have been in practice as a psychologist for 8 years, and practiced for many years prior to that as a Naturopath. This has given me a rich and diverse background from which to draw creatively as a psychotherapist in the face of each individual's uniqueness as a client.
