    Background

Since 2010, Kati has previously worked at South Pacific Private hospital on the Northern Beaches as a counsellor for adults dealing with addictions and mental health conditions. Whilst seeing the trauma being presented by adults at the hospital, Kati decided she needed to start working with children to break this cycle of harm. Kati says, I have since dedicated my time working as a Counsellor and Play Therapist in private practice 'Youth Psychology,' and ‘The Be Centre' before setting up 'Britton Play Therapy & Counselling' where I have seen many children and their families on a weekly basis. Kati is an intercountry adoptive mother, who also specialises in trauma and attachment issues with adopted children.
