Philosophy & Vision
As a clinically registered counsellor with PACFA and a registered play therapist with APPTA, I bring over a decade of experience to my practice, encompassing a diverse range of therapeutic modalities and client populations. My journey in the field has been characterised by a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families in their healing processes. Moreover, my time working in a school setting, hospital, not for profit organisations and running private practice has afforded me invaluable insights into tailoring therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. Grounded in empathy and respect, I approach therapy as a collaborative journey towards well-being, empowering clients to navigate life's challenges with resilience and self-awareness.
Background
Hi, I’m Kati Britton. I live and work on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney. I hold a Bachelor of Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Art and Play Applications in Therapy. For more than 13 years, I’ve worked therapeutically with children, adults, and families. Alongside counselling, I am the best-selling author of Navigating Adoption: Desire to Reality. I am also currently releasing online therapeutic workshops, and enjoy writing and publishing self-help journals for all ages. I am a creative person at heart and love engaging in this process.

Quality Provision
Counselling is a safe, supportive process where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a trained professional. It’s not about giving quick fixes or advice, it’s about creating space for you to be heard, understood, and supported to make the changes that feel right for you.
