Philosophy & Vision
I am a social work oriented telehealth counsellor supporting individuals and families in complex family and community systems. I understand how stress, responsibility, and relationship pressures impact men and couples in practical ways.
My work with men is straightforward, respectful, and grounded—focused on clarity, direction, and real-world change. I support men to understand stress responses, improve communication, regain control, and strengthen functioning in work and relationships.
With couples, I provide a balanced, structured approach to navigate conflict, unpack patterns, and move beyond gridlock. This includes improving communication, rebuilding trust, and developing realistic shared goals.
I facilitate honest conversations, support people through stress and relationship challenges, and help develop clear, achievable action plans.
My style is practical, and collaborative, focused on clarity and change.
Background
Before starting private practice, I spent over 20 years working within family and legal systems, supporting individuals, children, and families through complex and often high-pressure situations. This included navigating conflict, crisis, and long-term challenges where clear thinking, structure, and practical outcomes were essential.
Since moving into private practice, I am focused on providing telehealth counselling for men and couples. My work centres on helping people make sense of stress, improve communication, and move forward in a practical, workable way. I bring my earlier experience into a more focused, one-on-one setting, offering support that is grounded, respectful, and geared toward real-world change.
