Philosophy & Vision
I am a warm, empathic and experienced counsellor offering both short and long-term individual counselling, psychotherapy and creative arts therapy. I strive to provide a supportive space for reflection, exploration and growth.
I am guided by principles of trauma-informed care, this involves respecting our differences and individual needs, affirming strengths and resources and working collaboratively. You are the expert of your own experience, and in therapy we will focus on what is important to you, and we will work together to build a relationship of trust and respect.
Background
I have over eight years of experience working in community health settings, where I have had a number of different roles in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and Mental Health programs.
In my private practice I enjoy working with a diverse range of people and presentations.

Quality Provision
I hold national registration as a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA). Being a PACFA member I am subject to a wide range of professional and ethical requirements, and practice within the framework of the PACFA Code of Ethics. I receive regular supervision and continue to engage in professional development and training, as well as personal therapy.
