  • During the time of the Covid-19 Virus, I have moved my practise to Telehealth, so as to maintain safety for those who wish to see me and for myself. I will be able to offer this using a number of video platforms.
    I provide sessions over a short term, or long term, depending on the need, for individuals, couples, and parents, A session is approx. 1 hour.
    During this time it is my intention to be available to those who need support and access to professional assitance in a way that is helpful. This is a time when individuals, parents and couples, may be stretched to cope, mentally and emotionally with the worry and demands of this experience that we all share. Knowing that there is a trustworthy place to go may help, to enhance coping.

    Quality Provision

    I undertake ongoing professional development to enhance my knowledge and skills across a broad spectrum of individual and couples counselling and as part of my membership with the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. I am committed to staying up to date with ongoing developments within my profession. I am registered with APHRA to provide Clinical Psychology services within Medicare and I am registered with private health providers.

    Background

    I have 30 yrs experience working with people as a Psychologist and Psychotherapist, covering a broad range of mental health, personal and relationship issues. I am familiar with providing services with people who have been injured whilst at work.

    I have trained in psychodiagnostics. My experience with Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy and a range of therapy modalities including CBT, ACT, Sensorimotor therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Internal Family systems, working with Trauma, aids in assisting people with their suffering.

    I am a student of and a practitioner in a Buddhist approach to life. This encourages a foundation in Mindfulness and an approach to life which values compassion.
    I have had extensive training in Couples Therapy.

    Appointments

    We will arrange appropriate times when we can meet via a video link, dependent on your circumstances. Life will continue beyond this, nothing lasts forever, and together we will weather this unprecendented storm.

    Transport and Parking

    There will not be a physical presence at my office during this time.

    Fees

    During the time that we are dealing with Covid-19 my fee will be bulk billed only. In order to access this benefit a referral from a GP is necessary, and referring Doctors in the south West are aware of my current approach.

    Payment Options

    There will be no burden to transact what will be a Medicare fee, placed on those who wish to see me via Telehealth, My intention is to provide support to those who may benefit during this very sttressful time.
