  • I provide sessions over a short term or long term, depending on the need, for individuals, couples, and parents and children. A session is approx. 1 hour.

    I am proficient in working within the WorkCover guidelines for Worker Compensation work injury related issues.

    Quality Provision

    I undertake ongoing professional development to enhance my knowledge and skills across a broad spectrum including couples counselling and as part of my membership with the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. I am committed to staying up to date with ongoing developments within my profession. I am registered with APHRA to provide Clinical Psychology services within Medicare and I am registered with private health providers.

    Background

    I have 30 yrs experience working with people as a Psychologist and Psychotherapist, covering a broad range of mental health personal and relationship issues. I am familiar with providing services with people who have been injured whilst at work.

    I have trained in psychodiagnostics enabling me to provide psychometric assessment for those over 10 yrs. My experience with Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy and a range of therapy modalities including CBT, Sensorimotor therapy, Psychodynamic therapy assists people with their suffering.
    I am a student of and a practitioner in Mahayana Buddhism which provides a foundation in Mindfulness.
    I have also had extensive training in Couples Therapy.

    My consulting hours are 8am - 6pm
    Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays

    Transport and Parking

    Entry to my office is from Forrest Street, approx 20 meters from the west side of Coronation Street / Forrest St corner. My office is at the back of 20 Coronation Street a corner property. Parking in the driveway or on the verge.

    Fees

    My standard fee is $150 per session and is subject to means testing. I can bulk bill if the referral is supported by Medicare and there are financial issues. With a Medicare referral there is a small gap fee of $35. Private Health rebates apply.
