Creativity & Leadership Coaching
Successfully dealing with my challenges with the aid of 'exceptional' helpers has inspired my clients with the confidence & courage to do the same. Through genuineness, empathy & acceptance, I try to provide brief, effective, and practical help in a caring but challenging & supportive environment. I support people in helping themselves. Using an ACT coaching approach, I teach powerful and effective self-help techniques for dealing with relationship, personal and business challenges.
I offer coaching for creativity, leadership, relationships and wellbeing to business owners, professionals, executives, couples and individuals. I also specialize in pre-marriage counselling and sex education for couples, and clinical supervision for life coaches and other helping professionals.
ACT, CBT, Emotional Release, Imago Relationship, Mindfulness, Person Centred, Somatic Psychotherapy, Transpersonal
My approach is holistic, flexible & results-focused. If you choose, it can involve mindfulness, ACT and body-oriented and recent neuroscience approaches, as well as the coaching conversation.
I aim to provide practical and effective self-help skills to:
-Reach your full potential
-Feel better, gain clarity & make decisions
-Build confidence, creativity, self empowerment & wellbeing
-Improve work, family, family & sexual relationships
-Develop leadership skills
I have retired from the role of mental health professional & registered psychologist to focus on coaching for creativity, leadership, relationships and optimal functioning and wellbeing. I will always engage in personal/prof development as my Ph.D. on the psychology of helping indicated it was crucial for effective helping. Similarly, self-care is a priority so that I can really be there for clients.
Began counselling in 1976 and have been in private practice 25 years. My training and experience includes: counselling, ACT coaching, marriage and relationship counselling, CBT, person-centred counselling, Gestalt therapy, hypnotherapy, psychodrama, group leadership, Holotropic breath/bodywork, transpersonal coaching, mentoring and lecturing and psychology research.
