    I see my role as essentially that of a skilled, creative, attentive facilitator of exploration of a person's concerns. I hope to become an ally, alongside but clear seeing, able to bring forth that which may be ignored, out of awareness, threatening, avoided. To assist the person to hold close that which may be hard to bear, to realise to feel, to comprehend, to prise open, to regard with care & attention, to realise, know, act upon anew, congruently, creatively, courageously.

    Background

    45 yrs of working with people, 35 counselling & psychotherapy, 32 running groups, 10 yrs as university lecturer in my fields of expertise. Have worked across the human condition, with persons experiencing all forms of disability, children, adolescents, adults, men, women, couples, those in any relationship, consulted to organisations on people issues, spent 10 years as senior counsellor in a university counselling service. X-cultural counselling experience & training. Have worked across Australia, in NZ, the USA & now China. I often present at international conferences.

    Appointments

    Monday - Wednesday at Richmond (behind Richmond station)
    &/OR at Christmas Hills residence rooms on Thursdays:
    bushland seclusion and peace.
    1st session 10 am. Late session 7 pm.
    Group: evenings 6 - 8.30, 7 - 9.30 pm

    Transport and Parking

    Richmond rooms: Bus in Hoddle St., Tram in Swan Street & train to Richmond station within 2 minutes, also close proximity 1 & 2 hr parking in Tanner or Stewart St.

    Christmas Hills: no public transport. A beautiful rural drive. Very peaceful location

    Fees

    Sliding scale based on abllity to pay.
    Individuals: Income up to $35k pa $90
    $35k - $60k $110, $60k - $100k $130
    $100k+ pa $160
    Couples: joint income $60K $130
    $60k - $100k $150, $100k+ $175

    I bicycle for exercise weekly about 100km.
