Philosophy & Vision
At the heart of my practice is a belief that each person holds an innate capacity for growth and self understanding. My ongoing interest in the human condition with all its complexities, has supported my work over the past fifteen years.
I welcome individuals of all ages, navigating challenging transitions, anxiety, depression, grief and loss and helping find emotional and spiritual integration, self acceptance and inner change.
Together we navigate the inner life, the parts and patterns that shape us, recognising and transforming addictive behaviour patterns that no longer serve and collaborate to forge a path towards growth.
Background
I have a background in counselling and wellbeing in education communities and rehabilitation facilities. My practice over the past 15 years has been to support individuals of all ages who are navigating difficult transitions and guide towards emotional or spiritual integration and build self acceptance. I have extensive experience with neurodiverse students and families.

Therapy Approach
My approach is to meet you as you are and and listen to your concerns.
We then explore major thresholds and turning points and the threads that run through your biography to find visible recurring patterns that no longer serve and can be transformed. Where possible I use art therapy to support the process.

I have always been interested in the human make up and how we relate to self and people and the world around us. Counselling provides pathways to explore this and support for others to create change.

Carl Rogers holistic person centred approach was an early influence and aligns with my values to explore the lived experience. More extensively Rudolf Steiner's Anthroposophical approach helped me explore the innate wisdom of the human being and our capacity to be constantly evolving in relationship with self and the world with all its complexities. Internal Family systems brings anew lens to the innerworld.

I am interested in life's transitions and also the turning points that may occur through unexpected events that can provide opportunities to make significant changes.
