Philosophy & Vision

Hi, I’m Bernadette — a Trauma Psychotherapist and Relationship Counsellor.

Clients describe me as warm, genuine, and deeply attuned. My approach is gentle and steady, helping you feel safe enough to explore what’s been overwhelming or confusing. I bring both professional training and lived experience, allowing me to understand you in a grounded, human way. My focus is on supporting you to feel safer in your body, clearer in your mind, and more empowered in your everyday life and relationships.

Background

I’ve worked as a helping professional since 2010, supporting children, adolescents, and families within Out-of-Home Care and family services. This is where I witnessed the deep impact trauma can have — and the incredible strength people carry. That’s where my passion for trauma healing and therapeutic work truly began.

Services

  • Counselling, Psychotherapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, Walk and Talk Therapy, Phone Consultations, Online Video Consultations
  • I offer trauma-informed psychotherapy and relationship counselling for individuals (adults, teens, children), couples, and families. Sessions are available online and in person. My approach is gentle, paced to support nervous system safety, and informed by attachment, somatic awareness, and mind–body principles.
