    A conversation with Adriana Cavalcanti

    • My passion for helping others, seeing them grow and live better lives.
    • As I work from a holistic approach, I am interested in every and any aspect of an individual's journey.
    • I use a wide range of methods depending on the client's needs. I use a variety of creative methods to help clients better understand what is happening for them and in their lives.
    • When clients feel safe and are to able to express themselves freely. When clients are able to feel and able to adopt a different perspective.
    • I have always been fascinated by how therapy can create an opportunity for self discovery and healing. I feel that therapy has helped me become a better person and allowed me to have better relationships.
    • Being there for the other person, being part of their journey in a meaningful and helpful way.
    • Definitely! It is unrealistic to expect that everyday will be a 'good hair' day.

When I am having a 'bad hair' day, I remind myself to breathe, focus in the present moment and be kind to myself. We are only human!
    • The lack of meaningful connection to others which I think is very sad and a big concern.
    • Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.
