Philosophy & Vision
I approach therapy as a process of developing a deeper understanding of yourself to not just manage symptoms, but to make sense of the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate to others. While practical strategies can be useful, meaningful change often comes from understanding why you respond the way you do and how your experiences, relationships, and environment have shaped you.
I work primarily with people who may appear capable on the outside but feel stuck, reactive, or unsure of who they are becoming. Many are navigating ADHD, relationship difficulties, emotional intensity, or questions of identity, meaning, and direction. I also have an interest in working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, where family, cultural, or faith expectations can add another layer of complexity.
Background
I have worked as a psychologist across a number of industries including community mental health, education and in private practice. I have worked with people experiencing low mood, anxiety, confusion and stress due to life changes and helped them understand and move through their experience. I have also worked with people struggling in their relationships to develop healthier ways of communicating. I have worked with people struggling with career change both school leavers and second careers in offering career guidance to help them find clarity. I have worked with people with ADHD to develop structure and move forward. I have also worked with people with psychosis in helping them manage their condition to get the support they need.
Services
I provide both in person and virtual individual therapy as well as group therapy based on the Yalom interpersonal process method.
Quality Provision
I attend regular and consistent clinical supervision to ensure that I can best support my clients.

Therapy Approach
Fundamental to my approach is that our human experience does make sense and can be understood. The experiences of depression, anxiety and stress are often our own signals that the current ways we might be living, thinking and feeling are no longer working for us. My approach is to first understand what this experience is trying to communicate, and then with a values based approach, help my clients take steps to lead a life that is worth living.
I see humans as social creatures, we are always in relationship, not only to our significant others and families, but the wider world and most importantly to ourselves. I work to help my clients understand their needs, why they might be behaving as they do and help them communicate better.
