Philosophy & Vision

Sometimes we know that something isn't quite right, but don't always understand why. We may feel stuck in familiar patterns, overwhelmed by emotions, struggling in relationships, or carrying experiences that are difficult to make sense of.

I am a registered psychologist, and I believe therapy starts with feeling genuinely heard, without judgement or pressure to have everything figured out. My approach is integrative and collaborative, adapting therapy to the person rather than fitting the person to a model.

Together, we can understand what is happening, explore patterns that may no longer serve you, and create meaningful change at a manageable pace.

Background

Before becoming a psychologist, I worked for over 10 years as a nurse across emergency, intensive care, surgery and psychiatric settings in France. I then trained and worked as a clinical psychologist in France, including in psychiatric wards, aged care, correctional settings and counter-terrorism. After moving to Australia, I worked in child protection and workplace rehabilitation before establishing my private practice. I have continued my professional development through further training, including my most recent externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples.

Services

  • Counselling, Psychotherapy, Couples Therapy, Online Video Consultations
  • I offer individual psychological therapy for adults and therapy for couples, with all sessions currently provided online. My work is collaborative and tailored to each person's needs, whether you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, trauma, life transitions or feeling stuck in patterns that are no longer helpful.

For couples, I provide a space to slow down difficult conversations, understand recurring patterns and work towards greater connection and understanding. I welcome people from diverse backgrounds and offer sessions in both English and French.

    Quality Provision

I aim to provide thoughtful, respectful and individualised care. I take time to understand the person behind the presenting difficulty and work collaboratively to identify meaningful goals. I practise within my professional scope, maintain confidentiality and continue my professional development through training, consultation and reflection.

    Therapy Approach

My approach is integrative, collaborative and person-centred. I draw on CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, DBT-informed strategies, narrative and trauma-informed approaches, adapting therapy to the individual rather than fitting the person to a particular model. I have also completed a 4-day externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and plan to continue my EFT training through Core Skills.

I aim to understand not only what is happening now, but also the experiences, relationships and patterns that may be shaping the present.
