Philosophy & Vision
Yang Yan (YY) is a compassionate psychologist from Malaysia who obtained full registration in Australia. She takes a holistic and client-centred approach to therapy. She aims to create a warm and supportive space where clients feel empowered to navigate life's challenges.
In her practice, YY has experience supporting adults facing a range of concerns, including trauma, familial discord challenges, grief, life transitions, mood disorders, and relationship difficulties.
Regardless of the presenting issue, she tailors each session to the unique needs and goals of the individual and couples, drawing upon evidence-based approaches to foster self-awareness and lasting positive change.
With a warm and empathetic approach, Yang Yan strives to help clients cultivate self-compassion and find healthier ways of coping in an often-overwhelming world.
