Philosophy & Vision

Hello, I’m Suzanne Bocking, a professional counsellor and supervisor dedicated to supporting you in making positive changes in your life. I believe you can achieve your best life now, and I am passionate about empowering people to reach their greatest potential.

With 15 years of experience as a counsellor, I have worked in various areas, including school counselling, child protection in faith-based settings, mental health, the disabilities sector, and my own private practice.

Background

Suzanne’s life mission is to assist individuals in achieving positive transformations. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Adult Education, a Master’s Degree in Social Science in Counselling, and is a registered clinical supervisor with the Australian Counselling Association.

Suzanne’s professional journey began in the fitness industry, where she advanced into leadership roles. She then spent over a decade working throughout Asia and Australia with large multinational corporations in organizational development, change management, and human resources. A career change, prompted by a significant life change, led Suzanne to establish a highly successful business in Singapore aimed at supporting and empowering women.

In 2008, Suzanne returned to Australia and began working in trauma-informed care, supporting survivors of child sexual assault, individuals with lived experiences of suicide, and those affected by disasters.

Suzanne continues to pursue her passions, including running her own business, providing counselling and clinical supervision, facilitating peer support sessions, educating in both adult and child settings, mentoring women, and consulting for not-for-profit organizations.

Her integrity and dedication to the restoration and betterment of people continually motivate her to be her best.
