    Therapy Approach

My one reason for working in this area is to provide a safe place where a client is really listened to.
I work totally at the pace that my clients are at. I am contextual, I put their social, economic, cultural and psychological into perspective at their stage of development. Accounting for past trauma. I am kind, gentle and experienced,

    A conversation with Sue Hawkins

    • I wanted people to be really listened to and to learn how to empower themselves through changing their thinking, their situation, their actions and learning how to communicate well to maximize their relationships.
    • Put very simply, kindness. I am an advocate of Interpersonal Psychotherapy as it is a gentle approach to
understanding and normalising the human condition, especially within the states of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, trauma, grief and loss.
    • All of them, particularly the Perinatal Period, Anxiety, Depression, Interpersonal Issues, Couples Counselling, Positive Relationships, Self Growth no matter what a clients age, acceptance & forgiveness,
Grief and Work Place Bullying and Clinical Medical Hypnotherapy.
    • Client Focused approach within a context of the psycho social position of the client and their stage of development. I use many therapies and philosophies which are personally tailored for the client/s and their issues.
    • Definitely they will feel relieved after the first session and without fail I see great movement after the third session and onwards.
    • It has allowed me to grow and forgive.
    • Watching people free themselves from the weight they have been carrying psychologically and growing and really liking themselves as a person with a contribution to make to themselves, their relationships, their careers and their communities.
    • You betcha.
    • Inequality of socio economics and some really doozy people in positions of power that they are not competent with.
