I offer professional and experienced Counselling and Psychotherapy -working with Individuals and Couples and offer Supervision for Human Services Professionals. I bring to my work a warm personal style, solid clinical training (BSW, UNSW, Dip. Psych, ANZAP), a collaborative approach and diverse work and life experiences.
Areas of specialization include depression, anxiety, relationships communication development, intimacy and desire concerns, self-esteem issues, feeling stuck, grief, personality & mood disruptions, sexuality and sexual identity, trauma, life - relationship transitions.

Over 25 years of professional experience, I have worked across a range of practice settings as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist & Consultant. I have maintained my Therapy & Consulting Practice since 2000.

Therapy Approach
I generally recommend meeting with people to undertake a 2-session assessment discussion. This provides us with the opportunity to get an overview of presenting issues and relevant bits of history, see how we feel about working together, and then consider helpful options for moving forward.
Interpersonal, Systems, Cognitive Behavior therapy, Psychodynamic models & Self Psychology, and The Couples Developmental Model are the foundation theories which guide my practice.

Medicare - (10 sessions per year may be rebated at $87 per session)
