Philosophy & Vision
I offer professional and experienced Counselling and Psychotherapy for Individuals and Couples, and Supervision for Social Workers, Psychotherapists & Human Service Professionals. I bring to my work solid clinical training (BSW, UNSW, Dip.Psych, ANZAP), alongside diverse work and life experiences.
Areas of specialisation include: depression, anxiety, relationships and intimacy, self esteem issues, feeling stuck, grief, personality & mood disturbances, sexuality and sexual identity, trauma, life transitions.

I hold a degree in Social Work ( UNSW);
A Post Graduate Diploma in Adult Psychotherapy (ANZAP);
A Masters of Applied Science (RMIT)
Over 25 years of professional experience, I have worked across a range of practice settings as a Clinical Social Worker, Psychotherapist & Consultant. I have maintained my Therapy & Consulting Practice, Expanding Potentials, since 2000.

I also participate in regular Clinical Supervision and have professional affiliations with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); the Australia and New Zealand Association of Psychotherapy (ANZAP); I have undertaken Post Graduate training with the Couples Institute in California, USA.

Therapy Approach
The nature of the presenting issue/s, the level of commitment to engaging in therapeutic work, as well as available time and resources, are all considered when we consider what will be a helpful therapeutic plan. I generally meet with people to undertake a 2 session assessment, and then present options for moving forward.
Interpersonal, Systems, Psychodynamics & Self Psychology, and The Couples Developmental Model are the foundation theories which guide my practice.

Fee for individual sessions $160
Fee for Couple consults is $240
Medicare - (20 sessions per year may be rebated at $77 per session)
Where financial hardship is occurring, a concession rate is available.
