To truly be effective, I must discover what makes a person resilient and where their strengths lie. I must also work to understand the factors that contribute to ongoing suffering as well as barriers to growth.

As a young girl I was attracted to Existential philosophy because it spoke to my own questions about meaning, purpose, relationships, life, death and everything between. This is still true for myself and helps me in finding the right questions when I work with clients. Therapy is a shared journey with moments of sadness and joy.
