I began my professional career as a group therapist in 1978 in Australia but shortly after travelled to the USA where I continued my training, education, and practice, as an individual and couples therapist, for the next 24 years. I returned to Australia in 2003 and continue to enjoy a private practice and post-doctoral research.

Prior to becoming a counsellor, I studied Philosophy and I worked for many years internationally in the field of Human Resources Management.
