    A conversation with Sarah Short

    • I love that I have the privilege to help other people when they have lost their way in life. I have seen many counsellors in the past and they have assisted me greatly and i am honored that i get to return the favor.
    • Cognitive Behavior Therapy - I am a firm believer that if you can change the way your look and feel about a problem then this will assist with altering any negative consequences from our actions.
    • Mental Health and spirituality
    • Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT)
      Solution Focus Therapy (SF)
      Mindfullness Therapy (MT)
      Motivational Interviewing (MI)
      Person Centred Therapy (PC)
    • When they are able to realize their full potential in understanding they are the expert in their own life.
    • It made me feel fulfilled and alive
    • Being able to to sit next to a client along their varied journeys throughout life. I really appreciate the ability to be there at that pivotal moment the client realizes they have had a break through.
    • Absolutely! I am human :)

I often have to remind myself to stay focused, to remember to breathe and stay grounded.

    • I believe that we focus too much on media influences and how this play a role in the way we function in the community.

I feel that bullying is very prevalent in our community and that as a community we need to brand together to voice that it is not ok.
    • Serendipity is my favorite movie as sometimes in life all you need is a little bit of faith.
