    • What led you to choose psychotherapy or counselling as a profession?

    • I love that I have the privilege to help other people when they have lost their way in life. I have seen many counsellors in the past and they have assisted me greatly and i am honored that i get to return the favor.
    • Which philosophical approaches have influenced your professional/personal development?

    • Cognitive Behavior Therapy - I am a firm believer that if you can change the way your look and feel about a problem then this will assist with altering any negative consequences from our actions.

    • When they are able to realize their full potential in understanding they are the expert in their own life.
    • How has therapy made you a better person?

    • It made me feel fulfilled and alive
    • What do you like most about being a therapist?

    • Being able to to sit next to a client along their varied journeys throughout life. I really appreciate the ability to be there at that pivotal moment the client realizes they have had a break through.
    • Do you ever have 'bad hair' days?

    • Absolutely! I am human :)

      I often have to remind myself to stay focused, to remember to breathe and stay grounded.

    • What do you think is the most significant problem we face, in the world today?

    • I believe that we focus too much on media influences and how this play a role in the way we function in the community.

      I feel that bullying is very prevalent in our community and that as a community we need to brand together to voice that it is not ok.
    • Can you share the name of a book, film, song, event or work of art that inspires you?

    • Serendipity is my favorite movie as sometimes in life all you need is a little bit of faith.
