Philosophy & Vision

I specialise in treating addictions, anxiety and depression disorders, PTSD and family and couples issues. These areas can feel overwhelming and isolating, often impacting many areas of life. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can work together to better understand your experiences and patterns. I use contemporary and traditional, evidence-based techniques tailored to your needs. This focuses on creating sustainable change in your mental health and relationships.

Background

I come from a social services background with over seven years experience supporting individuals facing complex mental health challenges and homelessness. I have also worked across both adult and youth inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation settings. The greatest lesson I have learnt, is that no matter how we try, we cannot avoid pain and emotions. We are far better to learn how to befriend and honour our feelings. This is the beginning of healing.
