Therapy is both a process & a relationship which offers an opportunity to deepen our understanding of ourselves. Those who seek therapy may do so because of a particular experience or relationship in the past that has caused pain. Others seek therapy due to current difficulties or a sense of disconnection with themselves or the world. Overtime therapy strives to integrate conscious and unconscious (or deeper) parts of our being, allowing us to feel more connected to ourselves & others.
I offer long term individual psychotherapy. I offer weekly or more frequent sessions, which allows for greater depth and exploration.
Within therapy as well as 'talk therapy' I offer individual dream work and sandplay as modalities. These provide a space to play and connect with our own inner symbolic worlds. They facilitate communication with the deeper parts of ourselves, parts that can be difficult to access through language alone.
I provide Jungian oriented supervision to therapists wanting to reflect on their practice from a Jungian / depth / psychoanalytic perspective.
I run dream groups regularly; please contact me should you want further information about current dream groups.

I specialize in Jungian Psychotherapy an approach that works with both conscious & unconscious processes. Its aim is to access & engage with less known parts of ourselves so that they can come into consciousness. It is a process that allows time & space to unfold. Hence, instead of being a ‘quick fix’ Jungian Psychotherapists will often work long term to help people better know themselves. Along side Jungian Psychotherapy I draw on a range of skills and approaches from previous trainings including person-centred theory, trauma and attachment theories, Gestalt & feminist perspectives.
I am clinical member of the Psychotherapists And Counsellors Federation of Australia (PACFA). I undertake regular professional development and training in the counseling / psychotherapy field.
I am trainee within the 2013 intake of the Australian and New Zealand Society of Jungian Analysts (ANZSJA) Analyst Training Program. As a requirement of this training I engage in extensive course work, personal analysis and clinical supervision. For further information http://anzsja.org.au/training-process-2/
Prior to private practice my background included experiences within multiple agency and community settings. This includes over a decade working within sexual assault services, as well as university counseling services, hospitals, community health and crisis counseling settings.
