Philosophy & Vision
My vision as a therapist is to create a safe, compassionate space where people can reconnect with themselves, rediscover their inner strengths, and move towards a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with their values.
I value creating connections where clients feel safe enough to be vulnerable, explore their experience and be fully themselves. It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they discover new perspectives, and witness their growth and resilience.
My work is grounded in the belief that our wellbeing cannot be understood in isolation. I see each person through both an individual and systemic lens. Together, we explore not only what has happened to you, but also the strengths, values, and connections that support healing and growth.
Background
In 2013, I realised that the career path I was on no longer felt aligned with my values, which led me back to study psychology and learn about the human mind, behaviour and experiences. Soon after, I began working in the community sector, supporting adults to work towards a more fulfilling life.
Since then, I completed my Master of Social Work and I have worked across a range of mental health settings, including public mental health services. I have supported children, adolescents, adults and families experiencing a range of challenges.
My personal experiences, including migration and adversity, have deepened my commitment to walking alongside others as they navigate their own challenges and journeys towards healing and growth

Progress in therapy looks different for everyone. Some clients may notice changes when they begin achieving their therapy goals, while others may recognise progress through greater understanding of their internal experiences, an increased sense of control and confidence in managing emotions, improved relationships, and a stronger sense of emotional wellbeing.
-
Greater self-awareness and acceptance, improved emotional regulation and stronger connections.
-
There are two things I enjoy most about being a therapist. One is the process of building meaningful relationships with my clients in a safe space where we can both be vulnerable and authentic. It's an honour to witness their growth as the connection get stronger with their true self. The other is the learning that takes place through sharing experiences, fostering connections, and exploring broader contexts.
-
Yes, I do. Sometimes I feel under the weather which is a good reminder to look after myself, walk my dog or take longer time to have my lunch or even have a break and read or listen to my favourite song. Being aware of my own wellbeing helps me stay present and grounded, which is important when supporting others.
-
I think one of the most significant problems we face today is inequality. It impacts people’s access to opportunities, resources, and wellbeing. It highlights the importance of understanding people within their broader context.
-
For example the book The Power of One by Bryce Courtenay inspires me because it highlights the impact that one person can have when they believe in themselves and stand for what is right. It reminds me in my work that small moments of connection, support, and empowerment can have a significant impact on a person’s life.
