Tomic Psychology provides psychological treatments for a variety of psychological and physical disorders, ranging from specific stress and anxiety disorders through cardio-vascular and gastro-intestinal disorders.
Background
Dr Nikola Tomic has over 40 years of clinical experience in three different countries (Yugoslavia, Denmark, Australia) with assessment and treatment of a wide range of emotional, behavioural, cognitive and psychosomatic disorders.
Services
Dr Tomic has a particular interest in the treatment of physical discomforts affected by psychological factors, such as headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, colitis, chest pain, breathing difficulty, fatigue, chronic pain, eating and sleep disturbances, and many others. He has developed his own method for the treatment of bed-wetting, which is highly effective in children who are at least six years old.
In addition to psychosomatic disorders, Dr Tomic provides assessment and treatment for various habit disorders, including eating habits, smoking, gambling, alcohol and drugs use.
The third category of disorders for which Dr Tomic provides treatment involves problems developed in response to difficult current life situations or experienced stressful events in the past, such as traffic accidents, physical or sexual assaults, work-related injuries, war trauma etc.
