Philosophy & Vision
I work with people who want to fit in and be loved. They try to achieve this by taking care of everyone else and presenting a version of them to the world that they think people would like. They quieten their inner voice and over time it becomes silenced and they no longer know who they are or what they stand for. Their relationships become hard work because they aren't acting spontaneously or authentically. This leaves them feeling heavy with anxiety and relationship problems develop.
I know from over 8 years experience that it can be hard for people to allow their true personality to be visible to the world. I believe that when you are able to show up as your whole self it can transform your life.
Background
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society College of Clinical psychologists. I have completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Griffith University and a Master of Clinical Psychology at Queensland University of Technology. I am also undertaking additional training with Queensland Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Association. I have over eight years experience working with both inpatient and outpatients in the private sector and within non-government organisations.
Services
Psychotherapy is a journey in the pursuit of self awareness, acceptance, agency and freedom where you are no longer restrained by your past, your anxiety or entrenched in the negative relationship patterns you desperately want to break free from.
It is like gradually removing the dirt from an archaeological site. Over time you discover more about what lies beneath the surface; you can start to put things together and getting a more in depth understanding of what was previously hidden.
Quality Provision
When working with me, my clients feel safe to express themselves authentically. They know that I will meet them with curiosity and compassion.

Therapy Approach
Therapy can help you to begin healing your relationship with yourself and others.
You can start to learn about yourself and explore your internal world. Therapy can help you to know yourself and start to integrate your various and at times conflicting experiences. It can help you make decisions that align with your true self.
Therapy can help you to start to understand your relationships. It is a space where you can consider relationship patterns, how they have developed and how they leave you feeling. You can start to form relationships where you are able to fully show up as your true self and feel genuinely connected with others.
