Philosophy & Vision
Finding a counselling space where you feel safe to be yourself can be challenging. Being met with warmth and judgement-free support is so important. As an LGBTQIA+ person myself, I am deeply committed to, and passionate about our community. I provide an inclusive, person-centred counselling service to our community and our allies. Asking for help can be scary, but in connecting with me, you will be met with a space where you can explore your world with self-compassion and kindness.
Background
For the last 10 years, I have worked various roles within the social health and wellbeing sector. I have worked with women living with HIV, LGBTQIA+ specialist counselling support, in housing and homelessness, with adults with disabilities and with young people and their families impacted by cancer. I have experience working with minority communities and people from CALD backgrounds and specialise in working with young adults from the LGBTQIA+ community.
Services
I provide counselling and psychotherapy to clients with a range of different life issues. I work specifically with young adults (18+), primarily from the LGBTQIA+ community, however I also work with allies, parents, friends and family. I aim to create an inclusive and trusting therapeutic relationship with all people. Together we can learn about and explore the different parts of you, that come together to make you whole.
Quality Provision
I am a PACFA registered Counsellor, I undergo regular supervision and attend professional development courses monthly.
