Philosophy & Vision
Therapy manages emotional pain for individuals and couples, so that they become free from defensive patterns that become stuck, rigid and self-perpetuating, which can end up taking over them. Individuals can overcome emotional stuckness, while see themselves and others in a more realistic light. By better managing emotions, the self can become stronger to cope and manage with life. Nancy also treats personality disorders: Borderline; Narcissistic & Schizoid, or relationship trauma.

Therapy Approach
Nancy uses the Masterson Psychoanalytic approach. The Masterson therapeutic approach combines developmental theory, object relations, self psychology and attachment theory into a coherent structure.
It focuses on re-structuring how the individual sees themselves and others. It builds the "real self,' so that it does not remain impaired or stuck behind the defensive "false self', which keeps the self from functioning adequately.
