My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space, to be curious and encourage you in exploring the difficulties you are experiencing in your life, in order to develop your insight enabling personal growth and behavioural change.
I see adults for Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy and Couple Counselling.
I can provide either brief structured Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy focused on a specific issue, or Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to work on more problematic issues, or patterns of behaviour, affecting your life and relationships.

My goal as a psychodynamic psychotherapist is to help you explore your current issues and any related contributory factors in your life experience. The aim is to develop personal insight and understanding to help bring relief and enable behavioural change.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy has a research base and it can provide many benefits:

I attend regular and ongoing supervision and undertake regular continuing professional development.
Professional registrations include: Clinical Member of the Queensland Counselling Association; Registered Accredited Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a British Psychoanalytic Council accredited Dynamic Interpersonal Therapist.
I have clinical experience as a psychotherapist working within the British National Health Service (NHS), NGO's and tertiary education. I have maintained a private practice in both the UK and Australia.
I was previously employed as a full time therapist in the NHS working with GP or self referrals with mild-severe mental health problems. I met and exceeded all the targets for recovery whilst at the service.
I have a wide range of clinical experience across a range of problems including; Anxiety, Depression, Relationship problems, Trauma and loss of any kind, Sexuality issues, Pre and postnatal problems (men or women), Eating disorders, Compulsive or addictive behaviour, Life transitions/change, Crisis situations or Personality disorder.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - 11.00 am - 7.00 pm
Tuesdays 1.00 pm - 6.30 pm

Fees are available on request. Concession fees are available as well as a limited number of reduced fee appointments.
As I do not provide a medicare rebate this ensures your treatment remains confidential.
Payment is by paywave, cash or bank transfer.
Mark is rigorously trained to Masters level as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and holds professional registrations in the UK and Australia. He has clinical experience within Govt Mental Health Services in the UK, NGO's, as well as tertiary education. Mark has maintained a private practice in both the UK and Australia. He has experience helping people with a wide range of concerns and can flexibly provide either brief, time-limited or open ended therapy....
