Philosophy & Vision

Feeling stuck, lost or alone with your concerns? Talking about your issues with a trained professional can provide a welcome sounding board to better observe and understand yourself and uncover new ways to manage the problematic areas of your life.

My aim is to provide a safe and supportive space, to be curious and encourage you in exploring the difficulties you are experiencing in your life, in order to develop your insight enabling personal growth and behavioural change.

Background

I have developed a wide range of clinical experience across a range of settings, since 2011 including: the National Health Service (NHS), international NGO's, a tertiary setting and private practice. I was employed as a full-time therapist in the NHS (2014-2015) seeing GP or self referrals with mild-severe mental health problems. I have been in private practice in Australia since 2016.

Services

  • Counselling, Psychotherapy, Phone Consultations, Online Video Consultations
  • I can provide short or medium term psychodynamic counselling focused on a specific issue following an assessment.

I often provide open-ended psychodynamic psychotherapy to explore and work through more deeper seated or enduring problematic patterns of behaviour, issues or concerns that are affecting a persons life and relationships.

I have undertaken further trainings post qualification and this means I can flexibly draw on a range of models of therapy in my practice as needed including: Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Person Centred and Mentalization Based Therapy.

    Quality Provision

I attend regular and ongoing supervision and undertake regular continuing professional development.
