    A conversation with Margaret Bennett

    • I loved my training, and working with people. What brought me, especially to trauma work was lived experiences as well as rigorous training and deep faith in people's ability to not only heal but to THRIVE.
    • A wide range of trauma, existential. experiential trainings in Australia and internationally. Studies at Harvard University cemented my commitment to human rights and trauma and recovery.
    • Simply - thriving beyond trauma
    • Experiential psychotherapies, couples counselling, family therapy and a wide range of trauma-related methods such as Brainspotting. EMDR, Cognitive Processing therapy. I also use experiential processes incorporating small figure work, psychodrama and art therapies. I have hypnotherapy and hypno-psychotherapy training as well.
    • Most of my clients start to feel better or begin to see their way forwards after the first 1-3 sessions.
    • It has broadened my understanding of myself and increased patience and compassion for self and others.
    • The variety in my work and seeing people thrive rather than just survive.
    • Totally - dont we all - fortunately I have some very loving people around me - and a fabulous dog that loves me regardless of my hair.
    • Managing the busyness without going crazy!!!!! COVID is a real challenge and is affecting people's sense of peace, creating anxiety and depression.
    • THRIVE
