Philosophy & Vision
I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain, and who are seeking more than a quick fix. They are often thoughtful, sensitive, and curious about themselves and their relationships, wanting to understand the deeper roots of their difficulties and make lasting change.
I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with children, adolescents, and adults. This work provides a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of experiences that may have felt confusing or painful for some time.
My approach is grounded in the understanding that emotional struggles are often shaped by complex, unconscious processes. Within a safe, consistent therapeutic relationship, these can be explored and worked through, allowing for greater self-understanding and meaningful psychological change.
Background
Over the past twenty years, I have worked across academic, community mental health, non-profit, and school settings, before moving into full-time private practice. These experiences have shaped a thoughtful and grounded approach to my work. I now offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis in Melbourne with children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a focus on depth and each person’s unique inner world.
Alongside my training in psychology, I have undertaken advanced training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis with adults, and with children, adolescents, and parents.
Services
I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis tailored to individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. I aim to provide a safe, compassionate space where people can explore their emotional challenges, unconscious patterns, and relationship dynamics in depth. I also work closely with parents to support their understanding of their child’s inner world and behaviour, helping to strengthen family relationships. Through a long-term, trusting therapeutic relationship, I support clients in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and meaningful personal growth.
Quality Provision
I am registered with the Psychology Board of Australia. Committed to quality care, I participate in regular clinical supervision, postgraduate training, and ongoing professional development. This ensures my practice remains informed, ethical, and responsive to each patient's unique needs.

Therapy Approach
My approach is grounded in psychoanalytic principles, recognising that our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are often shaped by unconscious processes and early experiences. I offer a consistent, reflective space where deeper patterns can be explored within the safety of a therapeutic relationship. Rather than focusing on short-term solutions, I support clients in developing a richer understanding of their inner world. Psychotherapy or psychoanalysis begins with an initial assessment to think together about your needs and whether this approach feels right for you.
