    A conversation with Linda Sawrey

    • Significant family illnesses which changed my world overnight as a teenager, set my path towards caring and supporting. Firstly I went into nursing and specialised in Patient Safety and Quality. Trying to make the world a better place for those that needed help the most was core to my soul.
    • It's really for me about discovery and creating awareness of who we are, right now in this moment. That was huge for me as I was so task and goal orientated. I have now completely changed my view on this are focus on what is, rather on so many things we try to be. It has changed my world remarkably and I live in so much more inner peace now. The hardest person I ever had to deal with was myself and how I treated my own self. I have such a more gentle approach now.
    • Pretty much everything as I go along my journey. Healing is really about learning and growth. I'm fascinated on how some people go through extraordinary experiences yet are able to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and go forward and blossom. Yet I have see others that let even small things rob themselves of true happiness and love all their lives. They just get stuck and can't seem to get out. I really enjoy rolling up my sleeves and helping them find a way out to a new enriched life.
    • I have a flexible, individual client approach to my therapy practice. So will work in a range of different ways which is lead by my clients. I'm less of a talking therapist and find that getting out of our traditional based room approaches works so much better. I use art, equine, nature and range of other modalities.
    • In every moment along the way. We focus so much on the end goal that we completely miss the journey so for me its about slowing down and noticing the tiny moments of sunlight as they glint through.
    • It has opened my heart to others and gave me trust in people again.
    • Walking the path of discovery with the people who cross my path. The enrichment of life that occurs as we learn about each other.
    • Everyday as my hair is very very long, wild and a mind of its own.
    • Disconnection with nature and all it has to offer.
    • Nature inspires me every day. Watching the wonders of life and all its beauty.
