Philosophy & Vision
Guided by a strong commitment to social justice and human dignity, I have worked extensively with people seeking support with trauma, mental health concerns and difficult life circumstances. I have developed strong expertise in working with complex trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, emotional distress and the impact of prolonged stress. My approach is thoughtful, compassionate and grounded in evidence-based practice, offering a space where people can reflect, regain clarity and move toward meaningful change.
Background
I am a Clinical Social Worker, earlier in my career I worked in humanitarian contexts, providing mental health support in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya and in Bangkok, Thailand. These experiences deepened my understanding of how trauma, loss and prolonged stress can shape people’s lives.
I have worked for many years within specialist trauma and grief services in Australia. I have developed strong expertise in working with complex trauma, grief, depression, mental health conditions, emotional distress, and the impact of prolonged stress.
