Philosophy & Vision
Julia Bediaga is an accredited mental health social worker with extensive experience working in a variety of settings. She completed a Master of Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Anthropology and Psychology. Julia has worked within the family violence sector, homelessness sector, secondary schools and hospital settings. She has a particular passion for adolescent mental health but is able to work with all ages.

Therapy Approach
Julia uses a person-centered, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach to build a supportive space where individuals can feel free to safely explore their thoughts and feelings.
Julia is open to exploring with the individual the best form of therapy, whether that be through talk therapy, somatic movement or outreach. As a social worker, she is able to deeply consider the societal and structural elements that shape an individual's life, as well as move to the micro (individual) level.
