    A conversation with Johanna Waugh

    • I'm interested in working with clients who have experienced mental health issues such as depression, postnatal depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, social anxiety, panic attacks. The human journey of life changes and choices such as divorce, finding one's self, living in another country.
    • Person-centred, solution-focused treatment, However, relies on the problem that I am given. No one approach works for everything.
    • Once they have had a few sessions, and they have completed any tasks the therapist has set for them.
    • Yes, I think that has indeed occurred. I noticed that my head was full from all of the problems I was dealing with when I went to see my therapist. Speaking with someone made things much clearer to me. Even though it required a lot of work, I was prepared to invest the time necessary to get better. I was able to let go of the past and move on by talking through my issues and improving myself.
    • I like helping people, giving them the tools that are needed to change their life.
    • I think every one has a bad hair day, every once in a while. I wouldn't be normal if I didn't go through one of those days.
    • The most significant problem that we face is people having their head in some kind of technology and being totally consumed with their mobile, lap top, tablet. Being totally addicted to the internet.
    • A song that inspires me is called "Living Proof" - By Mary J
Book - You can, you will - by Joel Osteen
Favourite film - Fried green tomatoes
