      • What led you to choose psychotherapy or counselling as a profession?

      • My own journey, I was looking to heal my physical and personal issues. I kept getting stuck and didn't know what to do with my feelings when they came up so I decided to study Gestalt therapy. Also, I was a nurse and realised that many illnesses were linked to a persons thoughts and beliefs.

      • I am particularly interested in emotional health and resilience, as well as encouraging people to be brave and embrace the potential that lies within them.
      • What method/s do you use?

      • Gestalt Therapy, horsemanship, buddhist philosophy, art therapy, mindfulness.
      • When do you think the client will start to feel that progress is being made?

      • Every client is different, some clients feel progress after the first session. Most people have some insight's or things to work with, whether it is their first session or their 15th.
      • How has therapy made you a better person?

      • Working with people and being a therapist teach's me so much about myself, I learn something from everyone I work with, I also feel honoured to have the role I do.

      • All the time! We are all human, living, learning and loving.
      • What do you think is the most significant problem we face, in the world today?

      • I think a significant problem is that we are all so disconnected from ourselves, nature and one another. We have also forgotten how to breath, relax and be, we make life so unnecessarily complex and forget that it is actually the simple things that nourish us.
      • Can you share the name of a book, film, song, event or work of art that inspires you?
