Philosophy & Vision

I believe we are all moving towards healing and wholeness. To me therapy is about being fully present; creating a safe space without judgement; being a guide and companion on your journey to wholeness and self discovery. I believe all the answers are within you and you are the expert on yourself. I am a guide along the way offering some expressive modalities for your to discover your own wisdom.

Background

I have extensive clinical counselling experience with individuals, couples and families in my practice. I have helped many people with various issues and concerns. My experience also includes working in an agency setting. There, I did counselling and outreach work with families, as well as facilitating a group for parents of adolescents. I also worked on an outreach program for mothers and babies at risk.

Services

  • Counselling, Psychotherapy, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Coaching / Mentoring, Workshops / Courses
  • Through using a wide array of therapeutic modalities individually tailored to you, the process of change becomes effective, sustainable and at your own organic pace.
Together, we attend to your everyday experiences of life: your thoughts, emotions, dreams, body sensations and symptoms, as well as your relationships with others and the world.
Value, meaning and healing emerge from within your unique process of inner work rather than from any external ideals.

I adhere to my professional ethics and follow standard protocols.
I reflect on and keep notes of my work.
I have regular supervision to explore my work and be accountable to a more senior therapist and supervisor.
I am involved in continuous professional development and learning to keep up to date with developments in my field.
I have regular therapy myself to attend to my own inner process.
I engage in various self care routines and try to maintain a balanced lifestyle.
