Philosophy & Vision
George has been in private practice since 1990. Initially trained in Somatic Integration Therapy, he added Radix Body Centered Psychotherapy work to his practice in 1993 as part of a deeper emphasis on working with the body, mindfulness and the life force of a human being.
George has trained in various fields of therapy that complement his experience that one must work and accept the whole body (not just the cognitive) in order to produce a deeper healing and more real and permanent change.
Background
Originally trained as an accountant, I have an honours degree in economics. In my 20s I worked in the IT consulting industry computerising financial systems for large organisations. This body based work helped me so much back then as a client that I decided to train in this field and switch careers.
I have nine years formal training in this field and thousands of additional hours in related body mindfulness based therapeutic approaches totaling over 4,000 hours of training that continues to this day.
Services
For the highest quality of work and best results, I normally see a maximum of four people a day. Sessions are normally set at 11am, 1pm, 4pm and 6pm. Sessions are 90 minutes. For the initial session, allow up to two hours. There is normally a half hour gap between appointments. This ensures that you will rarely see the client before you or after you, nor have them waiting in the waiting area. Giving you much more privacy.

Therapy Approach
I normally work in stages. The first stage is normally three to four sessions, weekly of fortnightly then a months break with a follow up call to assess progress. If more is needed, the second stage is three sessions with the months break again and follow up call. If the issue is more complex then the third stage introduces deeper work that is ongoing.
I like to do the minimum possible number of sessions required. Working in stages allows more of your own independent healing to take place lowering the need for dependency on the therapist.
I have specialised for over 35 years in this deep and powerful approach to healing and growth. Working with the whole body and mind provides a very deep inner authentic connection to your real self.
