Philosophy & Vision

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: relationships are the heartbeat of humanity. They shape our identity, influence our wellbeing, and have the power to become our greatest source of love, healing, growth, and belonging—or our deepest source of pain. My purpose is to help people better understand themselves and others so they can build healthier relationships and create lasting change.

My own life experiences awakened a deep curiosity about human behaviour and our remarkable capacity to heal and transform. They inspired me to look beyond presenting problems and understand the deeper patterns that shape our lives, including the influence of our earliest relationships, the roots of emotional pain, and the pathways to healing and growth.

Healing begins with the conversation that changes everything.

Background

My journey as a counsellor started about ten years ago, I believe the helping professions such as counselling are ignited by personal experiences and the desire to make a difference in self and others. Sometimes we have to face difficult experiences to find our purpose, that is my experience.
For the past five years I have been working with vulnerable people suffering from mental illness, as well as loneliness, isolation, domestic violence, childhood experiences, trauma, relationships conflicts, which I believe is almost always the source of the challenges or suffering in humanity.

Services

  • Counselling, Couples Therapy, Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Home Visits, Coaching / Mentoring, Phone Consultations, Online Video Consultations
  • I work collaboratively in a safe and confidential space where my clients can share their challenges or life situations without judgement. My aim as a counsellor is to help clients progress from being unable to cope with their situations, to find ways they can cope and improve their situation.

    Therapy Approach

What I bring to my practice is my professional training, my years of experience in working with vulnerable people, my personal experiences that provided me with wisdom and my Spiritual teachings. I believe that when I am working I am standing on the shoulders of all the teachers who's intentions were to improve the quality of life of human beings.

My counselling approach encompasses the whole person, I believe that the individual is not the problem, there are several factors to take in consideration before assuming or make an assessment about a person mental, physical and psychological state. Therefore, I like learning about the whole person, and working alongside other professionals, I treat every client as an individual.
