Rise and Shine Counselling & Play Therapy

I am Wodonga's only qualified and experienced Children's Play Therapist at the moment. I'm also certified in multiple talk therapies, however my preference is for the expressive therapies such as Sandplay Therapy and Guided Drawing. Working with mind-body felt experiences we are able to surpass intellectual processes and go to a deeper subconscious level. EMDR therapy has also been added to the suite of psychotherapies I am able to assist clients with.

    Social Worker AMHSW, Play Therapist

Central to my work is a belief that each person has their own resources that serve as foundations for recovery. Fundamentally, clients need to feel safe, validated and empowered to work toward change and the development of new positive habits and strategies. I apply a somatic / sensorimotor / mind-body-feeling focus throughout the therapeutic process. I am able to hold the hard stories and big feelings and feel privileged to competently and safely companion clients along their healing journey. ...
