I help people who struggle with anxiety, stress and depression to cope better with life's difficulties. I believe all people have equal worth and deserve to have joy in their lives, no matter what their cultural background is, or level of education and skills they have.

As your counsellor, I will encourage you to respect your distinctiveness and appreciate your uniqueness in the world. I treat all people with respect and acceptance and provide a safe and welcoming space for everyone to be heard.

Background

I am a registered counsellor and art therapist with over 10 years in public and private practice in Melbourne. I have a passion for working with children and their families, where I create a healing space for clients to explore and understand the experience or events that are troubling them.

    • I am passionate about working with people to achieve meanings in their life and helping make positive changes.
    • Art therapy and mindfulness supported me in the healing process. These approaches helped me overcome my own challenges in life and encouraged me to help others to find their own meaning through creative expression.

    • Everyone has different ways of processing their experiences therefore I take into consideration what will suit you the best and adapt the counseling session to fit you.

      For that reason I focus on number of creative therapies from a person-centered approach. Art therapy and Emotion Focused Therapy are both creative counseling methods that I use.
    • I believe clients feel some relief from distress within the first 1-3 sessions.
    • It has allowed me to live an honest life full of creativity and relationships with others. I have more awareness and clarity of what is important to me.
    • I feel gratitude and honored that I am able to work as a counselor and share people's life journey.
    • Of course! We all have bad days. It's how we deal with these bad days and move forward.
