Philosophy & Vision

My approach is grounded in the belief that each person brings their own story, pace, and way of making sense of the world, especially when it comes to their connections and interactions with others. Because no two people are the same, I take the time to get to know you—not just your challenges, but how you see things, how you relate to yourself and those around you, and how you move through life—so that therapy can meet you where you are. I work with adults from all walks of life. Often, people come with a sense that something feels off or unsettled, even if they’re not sure what it is. Sometimes it’s a feeling of being stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Many also find themselves struggling with difficult relationship patterns, communication breakdowns, or a pervasive sense of isolation. Other times, it’s a quiet nudge that something inside wants attention or change. Whatever brings you here, it matters—and it’s welcome.

Background

My journey to becoming a therapist was shaped by years in roles centred on client relationships and communication. I’ve always been drawn to the complexities of human connection — how we adapt, cope, and navigate change together. In those experiences, I came to recognise a deep pull toward understanding human dynamics and fostering genuine connection, which led me to retrain as a psychotherapist. I bring with me valuable life experience from high-pressure environments, along with a deep respect for the relational challenges people face. I’m comfortable sitting with discomfort and exploring the deeper truths that can support meaningful growth.

Services

  • Counselling, Psychotherapy, Walk and Talk Therapy, Coaching / Mentoring, Workplace Training, Phone Consultations, Online Video Consultations
  • In addition to in-room and online consultations, I also offer Ecotherapy sessions—sometimes referred to as “walk and talk” therapy—where we meet outdoors in natural settings such as parks or bushwalks. These sessions combine the healing power of nature with gentle movement and therapeutic conversation.

    Quality Provision

I am committed to providing a high standard of professional and ethical care. My work is guided by respect, confidentiality, and ongoing professional development. I regularly engage in supervision and training to ensure my practice remains responsive, safe, and client-focused.

    Therapy Approach

I offer a collaborative therapeutic space where your experience is met with empathy, presence, and curiosity—without judgment. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities depending on your needs, preferences, and goals. Together, we explore your inner world at a pace that feels safe and respectful.

For me, therapy isn’t about fixing but about discovering what wants to be seen, understood, and supported. Together, we can begin to make sense of what feels tangled, reconnect with your sense of self, and create the conditions for healing and growth.
