I work with individuals and couples seeking to explore their internal and external world in an effort to develop new ways of seeing and experiencing that leads to greater confidence, fulfilment, self-awareness and a real sense of safety. Depending on your needs we can work together with a focus on a specific problem, or look more deeply at what is and what isn't working in your life and how you can reshape your sense of yourself and your relationships.

Psychotherapy and counselling are evidence-based approaches for dealing with a wide range of problems such as depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, relationship, sexual and attachment issues.
My approach draws on a flexible model of psychotherapy and counselling in which the relationship is the key therapeutic tool. I integrate mindfulness, neuroscience and humanistic modalities when working with clients. Every therapy relationship is unique and I tailor my approach to your needs.
I am committed to professional, ethical and transparent clinical practice
I am in regular clinical supervision, a learning environment all ethical psychotherapists participate in that ensures clients are cared for in the safest, most professional and effective manner
I am bound by the code of ethics of the International Transactional Analysis Association, the Australian Transactional Analysis Association and the Psychotherapist and Counsellors Federation of Australia
For a decade I worked as a nurse which exposed me to trauma, loss, grief, recovery and importantly, the resilience and drive people have to survive and thrive when facing life’s challenges. Since then I have worked as a medical journalist, editor and corporate relations professional so I also understand the impact competitive, high stress work environments can have on people’s lives. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2008.
