I use gentle, non-threatening, creative, expressive, body based methods in a safe, empathetic warm environment to explore difficult sensitive places. Emotions and trauma are stored in the body, for ex: the weight of responsibility may be stored in your shoulders, anxiety may live in your belly, guilt may live in your mind etc. One can only stop carrying these if they are processed and released completely. I work with you helping you build internal resources and equip you with tools you need to build the life you want.

    10 Questions with Anugrah Bhagwat

    • What led you to choose psychotherapy or counselling as a profession?

    • I find the internal worlds' of people beautiful and fascinating and so since I was a teenager I was always curious to learn and understand as much as I could about human behaviour. I just knew in my heart what I wanted to be!

    • When do you think the client will start to feel that progress is being made?

    • In my experience so far, more often than not people walk away from their first session filled with hope. From my part, I generally try and finish a session by teaching my client tools that can help them during the week. By the end of three sessions my clients already have a number of tools and resources to draw upon and use in challenging situations. This makes people see and experience change after two or three sessions.
    • What do you like most about being a therapist?

    • I absolutely love watching people evolve, change, grow and thrive! It moves me very deeply.
    • Do you ever have 'bad hair' days?

    • I have my fair share of bad hair days ;)!!!

I have to remind my self to breathe just like anybody else. Having bad hair days is not the bad part. How we treat ourselves during those bad hair days is what matters and that is the impression that lasts in our brain, making a bad hair day maybe...not so bad!!
    • What do you think is the most significant problem we face, in the world today?

    • Greed
