Anna Schwarz and her team are committed to supporting individuals and families in achieving optimal health and well-being. We are here to help you find ways through your challenges and to give you life skills to navigate when difficulties arise. We are here to walk beside you on this journey.

Anna is a registered Psychologist under the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with specialist endorsements in Clinical Psychology - and she is an AHPRA approved clinical supervisor. Anna is also a registered Psychologist in Switzerland and is a member of the Federation of Swiss Psychologists (FSP).

Background

Anna’s clinical practice was established in 2015 in Sydney, Australia prior to relocating with her family to Switzerland in 2018. She has recently returned to Sydney to continue her work with the local community. Anna has always been concerned with supporting individuals in achieving optimal health and well-being; delivering exceptional healthcare in medical and clinical settings. Initially, Anna completed degrees in Nursing and Midwifery where she became interested in how women experienced the transition into motherhood and impacts of postnatal depression. This interest led her to undertaking a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours), majoring in Psychology, at Charles Sturt University and then the successful completion of a Masters of Psychology (Clinical) at The Australian College of Applied Psychology (ACAP).

    Therapy Approach

    As a practicing Clinical Psychologist, Anna was primarily based in School settings working with children living with disabilities (aged 5-12). She has significant experience in providing Positive Behaviour Support Plans for challenging behaviour; conducting Cognitive and Adaptive Functioning Assessments; and working with children with Autism. She has been trained to use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised Edition (ADI-R) diagnostic assessment tool. The therapeutic approaches she used in Australia included Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

    Appointments are available from 9am to 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

    Initial Consultation: 1.5-2 hrs $380
    Subsequent Consultations: 50-60 min $290
    Online or Telephone Consultations: 50-60 min $260
    In Home Consultations: 75 min $300
    Travel time for in home consultations: $210
    Clinical Supervision: 60 min $220
