Philosophy & Vision

Hello, I am Anna, a trauma-informed, person-centred therapist committed to compassionate and ethical practice. I offer a supportive and non-judgemental space where you will feel genuinely heard, understood, and respected. I work collaboratively with each individual, tailoring therapy to suit your unique needs, preferences, and circumstances. I move at a pace that feels safe, manageable, and aligned with your readiness for change. I integrate a range of evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Attachment Theory. At the core of my work is a deep belief in your capacity for growth, resilience, and healing. I am passionate about equipping you with practical skills and insights that empower you to navigate life with greater confidence and self-understanding, long after therapy has ended.

Background

I am a psychotherapist and counsellor in private practice in beautiful Camberwell rooms and online. I also provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) counselling within large organisations. Prior to establishing a counselling career, I worked in schools teaching psychology and running wellbeing programmes to support teens develop emotional resilience, school engagement and leadership. I have also worked with South-Sudanese refugee families and indigenous families from North East Arnhem land, in wellbeing and teaching roles. My work has given me a strong understanding of mental health, relationships, life transitions and emotional wellbeing, through a lens of education and cultural humility.
