    Therapy Approach

Amanda works psychodynamically and holistically with clients who are experiencing a broad range of issues including those that come up again and again, presenting as a recurring patter or theme. Providing a confidential, safe and non-judgemental space to openly discuss concerns while offering hope for change is of the utmost importance to her. She listens attentively and guides you to better understand your thoughts and feelings, often shining a light on unconscious thoughts and processes. Amanda utilises somatic psychotherapy whereby Soma is a greek word that means 'the living body' and encourages increased awareness and understanding of the emotional energy and the 'felt experience' when discussing issues that are difficult and painful.
