Sydney Couple and Family Specialists have specialist training and experience in working with couples and families to overcome pain and dysfunction.
When you come to see me you can expect a warm and thoughtful exchange, to be genuinely heard in a safe and contained space, to get to the heart of the problem, and to receive practical skills to improve your relationships.
Background
For close to a decade I have had the privilege of working with individuals and couples to help them out of pain and to improve their lives. Whether that pain has come in the form of personal crisis, loss, mental health challenges, suicidal ideation or relationship breakdown.
It takes a lot of bravery to share a moment of crisis with someone you don't yet know. Even more so, to entrust your intimate relationship over to them. I have been in the fortunate position to be trusted with that responsibility many times and have helped people - through their own courage and efforts - to transcend their suffering and improve their lives and relationships.
Services
I offer relationship counselling Sydney, post separation work, adolescent work and family work.
Many couples are in relationships with constant fighting or arguing. I work to help you identify the patterns of behaviour that are getting in the way of you and your partner having a fulfilling relationship. You will learn improved communication, you may redefine relationship roles, you will understand the effects of your families on your relationship, and learn how to read each other's emotions.
Couples tell me I am warm and easy to talk to. They say they feel understood by me, and that I really get their perspective. And are extremely grateful when their partner truly understands them, often for the first time in their relationship.

Therapy Approach
I have significant experience in crisis intervention, helping individuals and couples through frightening, intense and painful life events. These include trauma, infidelity, mental health challenges, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. I understand how such experiences can affect relationships, and provide couples with practical ways of addressing such challenges.
