I provide a safe, supportive and confidential space to talk. I believe everyone is unique in their counselling needs and I offer a person-centred approach. I work together with my clients in helping them move from feeling stuck to feeling more free in themselves and their life. Through the counselling process you are able to explore and understand your triggers, gain insight and self awareness. With the right support we can get through what life throws at us and live a more fulfilling life.

    • What led you to choose psychotherapy or counselling as a profession?

    • I started my career in Counselling later in life, I have always had a strong interest in psychology and curious about the mind and body and how they both connect.

      I am passionate about providing support and connection for people who are going through difficult periods in life. Life will always have hardships, however understanding the present and the past gives us insight which can help us move forward, feeling freer to live a more fulfilling life. We can't choose our past but we can choose the present and our future.
    • Which philosophical approaches have influenced your professional/personal development?

    • My training in Systemic Therapy has allowed me to work with clients exploring their past and current relationships and making sense of the interactional patterns and dynamics and how this could be playing out in their current life.
    • When do you think the client will start to feel that progress is being made?

    • When my client starts to feel hopeful and feel like there is more choices in their life.
    • What do you like most about being a therapist?

    • I love being able to hold a space for my client and let them know that I am going to be there for them no matter what they share with me and together we will make sense of it and process it.
    • What do you think is the most significant problem we face, in the world today?

    • Loneliness.
