I can help you change unproductive patterns of relating so that you can have happy, successful and enduring relationships at home and at work.
My aim is to guide you in reconnecting with your own wisdom and strength so you can find resolutions which fit for you. I help you use your own ability to heal past relationship issues so that you feel content and satisfied in your life.
I openly discuss your expectations and goals and work collaboratively with you to discover how to find the best |
Ongoing personal and professional development are essential for me to keep informed and up to date with new developments in my work and teaching. I am in regular supervision and constantly engaged in a comprehensive self-care programme. This focuses on caring for the physical, emotional, cognitive, interpersonal, social, ethical and spiritual components of my life.
I'm an educator at the Australian College of Applied Psychology and teach supervision at the University of Canberra. |

I was employed by the Department of Health as a naturopath/counsellor/crisis and group worker in a women's refuge and in Leichhardt Women's Community Health Centre from 1981-1986. Since 1987 I have been in private practice as well as being committed to my own personal development through continuing studies, personal work and applying an integral approach to my own self-care.
I co-facilitate monthly workshops on Ken Wilber's ILP method of maximising well-being. See www.sydneyintegral.org |
Therapeutic approaches within the integral framework I use include:
* Psychodynamic
* Humanistic/ Gestalt/ Experiential
* Cognitive-behavioral
* Somatic
* Existential/Transpersonal
* Supervision
I also have training in Jungian Therapy, Psychosynthesis, stress management, yoga & meditation, and in the psychotherapeutic principles of Buddhism. Having practiced yoga and meditation daily since 1981 provides a lived experience in applying mindfulness to my work. |
