Goal focused outcomes aimed at developing resilience. Theories incorporated are attachment theory, developmental theory, existential theory, positive psychology, CBT, meditation and relaxation skills, hypnotherapy. Also, linkage to resources and best possible outcome referrals. Goals must be practical and achieveable and set in the context of a supportive community of resources.

Orientation

Graduating in 1982 I have been a tireless worker and leader on numerous grass roots Community Committees. Areas of Speciality Pregnancy & Pregnancy Support Maternal, Reproductive and Child Health, Childhood Development, Post Natal depression, issues involved with ageing parents/relatives, life limiting illnesses,paliative care issues.

My approach is developmental, systemic and client focused. I will only work with people who self refer and have a committment to develop resilience and strength. Within a wholistic framework clients will receive professional, caring and totally respectful and ethical engagement.
